The CD-ROM teaching pack contains 5 hands-on, practical lesson plans with focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Your students will become Leonardo da Vinci’s Apprentice as they study his Marvellous Machines with our engaging and exciting, student-centred STEM teaching resource. Each lesson encourages students to apply technical theories in a new context relating to real-world situations and applications in relation to da Vinci’s designs and ideas relevant to 21st century concepts. Comprehensive explanations for the technical knowledge behind each lesson are provided within each lesson. This resource is aimed at the second and third levels of the Curriculum for Excellence, ages 9-14.
